Yep, it’s that time of the year, time for cooling weather and falling leaves. The cooler weather I can do without, but I do love the beautiful colors of fall and fall craft projects.
To kick the season off, I have a new project to share with you over on the Chattering Robin’s Blog. Be sure to check out the blog for all of the details.
It’s time for a new challenge over on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity Blog and this week’s theme is “Make it Funny”. I couldn’t resist using the “Party On” image (designed by Carri Sue) for my inspiration piece. This fun loving older lady image makes me laugh, even though it hits a little to close to home (as I am feeling my age as of late, lol).
This card features the use of black and white space as a back drop for spots of color. The trick is selecting and coloring only key elements of the design so that the color really pops and highlights the focal points.
Be sure to check out the Quick Tips Mixed Media Video below for the step by steps.

Today I am over on the Lost Coast Designs Portal to Creative Blog with a bit of inspiration for the Song and Dance Challenge. This project is all about revisiting pigment inks. With so many wonderful inks available, I haven’t used pigment inks as much as I used to. They are great for blending and stamp a nice detailed image. So, this is pigment ink revisited. Be sure to check out the details on the Lost Coast Designs Portal to Creativity Blog as well as the Quick Tips Mixed Media Video below.
