Create a coffee themed plaque with SCORCH pen

Hello all,

Today, I tested out the SCORCH marker.  This pen allows  you to “scorch” wood with your heat tool (see bottom of this blog for link to the official SCORCH video).  I first tried the SCORCH marker with an adhesive screen stencil and didn’t have much luck with this method.  I kept getting more bleed through that I preferred however, with each try it was getting better.

Next, I used it free form to accent a wood plaque that I had stenciled with modeling paste.  This method allowed me to mark sections of the plaque (free hand) to scorch with the heat tool.  So cool, I loved using the marker in this manner!  Be sure to check out the Quick Tips Mixed Media Video below for the step by steps!
