I am over on the Chattering Robin’s blog today with a new craft project; it’s Easter Basket featuring a Dew Drop Birdie. This is a cute, fun and easy project so I hope you will pop on over to the Chattering Robin’s blog to get all of details…including a Mixed Media Tips Video walking you through the step by steps!
Wow, it’s been a busy few weeks for me. How about you? I am so excited to see hints of spring popping up here and there. I am so looking forward to warmer weather!
Since I have been a bit behind on my blogging, I thought I would catch you up on a few projects, website updates , and upcoming events.
Let’s start with projects:
Lost Coast Designs kicked off a new Challenge on the 15th of March – Round and Round Challenge # 72. For my inspiration piece, I created a journal spread in my 5 1/2″ circle journal. I hope you will pop on over to their blog and participate in this week’s challenge. Would love to see what you all come up with!
I actually fit in some time to create a new Steampunk themed Mixed Media project on a 12″ x 12″ stretched canvas. This was really off the cuff and created when I just needed some good old-fashioned art therapy! Really love the textures and colors on this one!
Did you see my post on instagram about the 3 new images designed by Carri Sue? Three new images from the Old Lady line have been added to the website and are available for digital download. So much fun!
I have also just created a new Sketchy Calla Lily that will be available for digital download by Monday, March 18th. Just in time for your Spring and Easter projects!.
Upcoming Events:
The Let’s Create Expo is coming up on April 12th and 13th at the Mountain America Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah. I will teach two workshops at this event. Click on the title below to register.
Today I have a new post over on the Imagine blog featuring a Stamped Collage project using the new StazOn Pigment inks. These are incredible inks that are a real pleasure to stamp with! With StazOn Pigments you can stamp on the same surfaces as original StazOn inks with the added benefit of a new felt pad that creates really crisp, vibrant images!
I hope you will drop on by the Imagine Blog to check on the step by steps for this project as well as many other cool projects from other Imagine Artists in Residence!
