A quick post tonight to say hi and to show you my latest Mixed Media project. I have had a rough few days, as many of us do, so today’s project is a little darker that I my usual color scheme. The saying, “It’s all Perspective”, pretty much sums up my thoughts though.
We all have tough times with bad situations, illness, or other things out of our control. However, it is our perspective on these events that drive how we think and react. We control our thoughts and actions so we can make situations positive, negative, or whatever. It was good for me to remember this as I was dramatizing my “issues” in my head. I don’t have to let things get me down. It truly is a matter of perspective.
What I remember…Materials list:
- The Crafter’s Workshop Stencils
- DecoArt paints and mediums
- Acrylic Paint sprays
- Ranger Texture paste
- Tissue paper
- Tim Holtz Idea-ology – small talk sticker
- lots of metal gears, charms, and wings.
- dry wall tape
- Faber-Castell Artist Pitt Pens
