Hello all,
I don’t know about you but I am finally starting to settle down a bit after the mad holiday rush. Our New Year’s eve is usually a quite one spent at home. I will likely craft away the evening while watching the New Year excitement on TV.
One of the projects that I will continue to work on is these Mini Mixed Canvas Calendars (like the ones shown below).
To make these, I started with mini calendars (made by docrafts) and paired them with 3″ x 4″ stretched canvas panels with easel. To make each unique, I applied various acrylic paint techniques for the backgrounds and then added buttons, metal jewelry parts, gears and other embellishments to create the desired look that I was going for. Each are one of a kind and can be made to match every taste so, they would make great New Year’s gifts.

So, with this post being published on the crest of a New Year, I am curious as to what your goals or resolutions might be? The big one for me is that I will be starting technique videos in 2018. This is a big step for me! I have been prepping me and my studio for this new adventure so I hope that things turn out well. I just have to pick the right project to start and and just take the final leap!
Wishing you all a Happy and Healthy New Year!
Happy Day!
