Mixed Media Round – Wish

Hello all,

I have been busy working on a project for an upcoming guest designer spot that has kept me away from my blog for a few days.  Last evening, I finally took a break from that most enjoyable task and worked on a mixed media canvas that has been running around in my head for several days.

This is the season of snowflakes and snowmen and I love both despite hating the cold, wet weather that comes with them. Isn’t that a contradiction!  I guess that I just prefer to admire snowflakes and snowmen from the warmth of my cozy home.  lol

As you have figured out by now (for sure), snowflakes are the theme of this project.  Snowflakes as well as many other fun bits and bobs went onto this round stretched canvas to create a frosty project that I am calling “Christmas Wish”.

My time last night was all about enjoying the process and taking in a little art therapy so I didn’t keep track of everything that I used.  So, if you have a question about something you see, please comment below or email me and I will be glad to respond.

Tonight, I am off to have dinner and then attend the Festival of Trees with my daughter.  It should make for a very fun evening and I will be sure to post some pictures to my Instagram site.

Hope you all have nice plans with friends and family this weekend.  ’tis the Season!

Happy Day,

L
