Hello all,
It’s Friday night and time for a new blog post of my latest project. I wanted to create a canvas with a muted, textured background and a soft focal point of muted colors. Below is the outcome of my efforts (8″ x 10″ flat panel canvas).
I altered from my normal course of using Gesso to neutralize the gears and other embellishments and then adding color over the top. Usually, I do this because of the different colors, tones, and textures of the various pieces that I use. Instead, for this project, I used all silver toned elements. I really like how the silver metal is interacting with the muted grey background and the blue/green florals.
I hope you will forgive me for not including a materials list. I took these photos prior to traveling today and forgot my materials list at home. So, I do not have a list all of the materials to post for you. I will try to come back and add the list next week when I am back home.
This is going to be fun weekend for me as we will be celebrating our grand baby’s 1st Birthday. I am so excited and have been party planning all week-long!
Hope you all have a great weekend too!
Happy Day!
