Layer
1: Applied combination of Grumbacher watercolors (Pink, Orange, Yellow) with spots of
Glimmer Mist (Apricot Jelly & Sunlight) and Simply Sheer Matte Mist (Red
Apple). Dry with heat tool
Layer 2: Stamped Words background image (by Heidi Swapp) with in Brown ink;
randomly covered entire journal page.
Layer 3: Applied Ranger Texture Paste over Dylusions Quote Bubbles stencil;
allow to dry. This created the raised pebble look on the page.
Layer 4: Applied layer of watered down acrylic paint (brown) and Glimmer Mist
(Rich Mocha). Dry with heat tool.
Layer 5: Stamp Typewriter image (by Dear lizzy) onto tissue paper and colored
with watercolor pencils – adhered to journal page with Liquitex glazing medium.
Then stamped word image (same as background) onto tissue paper, torn into
various sizes and adhered to journal page with glazing medium.
Layer 6: Adhered acrylic bird and postage mark images from Firefly ephemera
kit.
Layer 7: Splattered with watered down Black acrylic paint. Dry with heat
tool
Layer 8: Cut words out from old book and adhered to page with Mod Podge. Age with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Layer 9: Applied Simply Sheer Matte Mist (Hunter Green) to add contrast to
page. Dry with heat tool.
Ok, on to my next project.
Happy Day,
L
