You know when you have left over kits from Holidays gone by that you just don’t know what to do with? Well, I had a great Christmas card kit from Paper Pumpkin (November Noel) laying around that I decided to re-purpose for 4th of July. I found a fun American Flag stamp and saying from The Angel Company and used it (along with some blue card stock) to cover the NOEL image that was pre-printed on the cream colored card stock found in the kit. The flag stamped image was colored with Derwent Inktense 24 water colored pencils. From there I pretty much stuck with the kit’s design. I think these re-purposed kit cards turned out pretty cute, the red striped card background fit right in to the patriotic 4th of July theme.
This has got me thinking…what other kits and supplies can I re-purpose for a different season?
